I stayed here because of the rave reviews for this park. Location is great and hosts wonderful. However, it is a small and sightly packed feeling park. You hear road noise in the park. You park right next to another rig and while there is some space, you do not feel any privacy. All sites are gravel with a small concrete pad. Facilities are clean and the maintenance was super. That being said, for our needs for a two night stay, it was more than adequate. The dog walk is a great trail out the back of the park that meanders into a city park one way and over a hill the other. I would stay here again but is not a 9/10 in my book.

This park is clean and well groomed. We simply needed an overnight stop. Close access to highway 87 but far enough away so that there is no road noise. Level site, good electric and helpful staff. We would stay here again.

Stayed here for an overnight. Rate reflects Passport America discount. Roads are extra wide and sites long and spacious. Most sites have trees around them and many have grass which our dogs loved! Park is a short distance from the freeway but access streets were easy to navigate. Was quiet and peaceful in the park. Staff was very helpful and friendly. While not a resort, this was one of the nicest overnight stops we have had on this trip. Definitely would stay here again.

We stayed here as an overnight stop. Park is well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Sites were gravel and level. Not too far from the freeway so there is some road noise but at an acceptable level since access to and from I-10 is a breeze. Great spot for an overnight stop and seemed to be the best option locally as we drove the freeway. They have a cafe on site which we did not try but since the park is out of town, is a nice option. Would stay here again.

The $18 was a Passport America rate. Park very quiet, about 2 miles from town with easy access. The park is in great shape and staff super friendly and helpful. Each site has a small concrete pad with a picnic table and gravel is under the RV with level sites. Spaces are close together but adequate. Grounds are well kept and there is a dog walk area. We would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here as an overnight stop on our way south. This is an older but immaculate park. The sites are wide and long. We were far away from the freeway, the front of the park is somewhat close and would get road noise but that area appeared filled with permanent residents. We heard no road noise. The airport is close but we have heard two planes since our arrival mid-afternoon. The interior roads are wide and graveled. The sites have a concrete RV pad, grass strips separate the sites, and many, many trees are around the park but are trimmed above or away from the top of RVs. Super office staff was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Rate reflects Passport America discount. Lovely park nestled in a quiet area not far from downtown San Antonio. Staff was helpful and friendly providing maps and information about the area. Park is well kept, nicely landscaped with wide RV spaces and has a small pool. Paved park roads and level gravel sites. Store has many RV items on hand that sometimes are hard to find. Would absolutely stay here again. One of the gems of our trip so far.

Rate reflects our Passport America discount and includes $3 extra for 50amp service. This is a great newer park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The park is access code gated after 5PM but is not in a bad part of town. Park roads are paved and very wide giving great access to all sites. Some distant train noise but no significant road noise. Sites are very wide, level and private. Trees and shrubs separate the sites and give great privacy. Nice small pool and hut tub. We would definitely stay here again.

This park is an interesting mix. It is quite far from the city so is quiet but is also a drive to any services and shopping. All of the park is gravel, roads wide and most back in sites are separated by large elevated logs. Lots of cacti and palm trees in the park for visual appeal but also an old empty pool (working pool is nice) and remains of a water slide are visible. That being said, staff is wonderful, park is clean and electric was stable although the park was sparsely populated as most of their snowbirds are not here yet. Wi-Fi worked at our site but did slow down even in a mostly empty park. There is no TV unless you have a satellite dish. Long term residents were especially friendly. The buildings are all well kept and the laundry (they have three) was great. We would stay here again.

Rate was for a conference we attended there. This park is near a freeway and there was some road noise. Some sites are narrow and close together but generally are level and adequate for multiple slides. The staff was very helpful and the park was well maintained. Access to the freeway was easy and you are away from town a bit - the closest grocery stores were five miles back towards San Antonio.

A pleasant surprise for a KOA, great price with no add-ons. Cable and WI-FI included and both were excellent. It is a mostly gravel RV park but has lots of grass around the edges and many trees surrounding much of the park. Level sites that are fairly close together but still comfortable. No noise of any kind as the park sits back from the main road about a block. I agree that the dog "walk" was pretty funny - about a 10X10' pen with provided disposal bin. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for a quick overnight stop. The park is only about a mile from the freeway access but far enough away that you do not hear traffic. Finding it was not difficult but you do wind past some industrial/commercial businesses until you find the park along a quiet country road. As stated, the entire park is level gravel with only a couple of small grass plots for relief. There are also some trees at some sites. The staff was helpful, there is large wide sites and the park is well kept. We would stay again.

Would have rated a 10 but for the weekend noise from a small racetrack a short ways away. Not too noticeable with the AC running, but it was noticeable outside. Has friendly and very helpful staff. Park is newer with inside pool/spa and workout room. Spaces are wide with no problem for multiple slides. Very nice park overall. We will stay here again.

This park is large and many sites have trees for shade. I was able to get satellite TV. Sites are gravel/dirt pads and mostly level but some on the caravan had issues with leveling. Park is an older one but buildings have received some recent care. Staff was very nice and had good local information. Beware: There are tire spikes on the exit and one RV came in the wrong way. Stay on the right side entry road! He went past a warning sign and blew three tires.

This is a very nice campground and we would stay here again. Only downsides are back-in sites are quite close together, you hear some traffic noise and right now the orchard air guns are going off to keep the birds away from the fruit. I would rate noise issues minor.

This is the best park I have ever stayed in. Sites are large and the park well kept. We were in the Island section of the park and had a feeling of privacy and enjoyed our stay. I would go back anytime I am in the area. I see why others have raved about this park.

We were placed in a very tight back-in site. We had rigs very close on every side and behind. This was the most uncomfortable I have ever been in a campground. There was no way to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Be sure to ask for a pull through if you have any size of rig. We should have been advised of the tightness of the space before registering. The the staff was generally very helpful.
